After shopping for way too long (aided by Leslie, who was remarkably patient with what apparently are finicky tastes on my part) to find shoes that I like (which apparently don’t exist, at least not in my size), I decided to just make my own. So I went to the Vans website and did just that. The image you see is the shoe that I made.

Now I have to wait an excruciating 3-5 weeks before I’m the coolest kid on the block. Until then, hopefully it doesn’t rain too much, because the holes in my current shoes are only getting bigger.
